Welcome!

My name is Nora Iannotta, and I am grateful to serve as the director and lead teacher of Evergreen EC. I hold a Master’s Degree in Curriculum Development & Instruction with a certificate in teaching children who speak English as a Second Language. This will be my 15th year in education.

In 2019, I returned to the States after teaching in South America and became a STEM specialist for St. Charles Public Schools. Around this time, I began learning more about Reggio Emilia and Montessori education. After having a child of my own, I visited schools that were using these approaches and began taking professional development in these specific areas. I found them to be wonderful for children, with a total respect to the important stages of child development.

When designing this program, I thought about what I would want for my own daughter: no rushed transitions, time for deep thinking and independence, a loving and attentive teacher, music, movement, opportunities to make friends and plenty of outdoor time. If this sounds like something you are looking for, I hope you will reach out.

At Evergreen Early Childhood, you can expect open and transparent communication as well as a safe and nurturing environment for your child.
