Meet the Director
It is my privilege to serve as the director and lead teacher of Evergreen Early Childhood. I hold a Master's Degree in Elementary Education & Curriculum Development, along with a certificate in teaching English Language Learners, and this year marks my 15th year in education.
In 2019, I returned to the United States after teaching in South America and was invited to help design and teach a non-traditional STEM program for St. Charles Public Schools. It was around this time that I revisited Reggio Emilia and Montessori philosophies that I studied in undergrad. After becoming a mother, I visited schools using these approaches firsthand and pursued professional development in both areas. What I found was a deep, genuine respect for the natural stages of childhood.
When designing Evergreen's program, I asked myself a simple question: What would I want for my own daughter? The answer shaped everything — unhurried transitions, space for deep thinking and independence, a loving and attentive teacher, music, movement, meaningful friendships, and plenty of time outdoors. If that vision resonates with you, I would love to connect.
At Evergreen Early Childhood, you can count on open, transparent communication and a safe, nurturing environment where your child is truly seen.
