My name is Nora Iannotta, and I am grateful to serve as the director of Evergreen EC. I hold a Master’s Degree in Education and Curriculum Development and have fifteen years of experience as an educator. I began my career in Early Childhood Education in the Western burbs and downtown Chicago at Sacred Heart School. In 2020, I returned to Early Childhood as a science and STEM specialist for St. Charles Public Schools. Around this time, I began learning more about Reggio Emilia and Montessori education. After having a child of my own, I started visiting schools that were using these approaches and began taking professional development in these specific areas. I found them to be wonderful for children with total respect for the important stages of child development. Designing this program was a labor of love.
